Hunter is our tiny little treasure with a big presence. The beautiful daughter of Finley, she weighs just 3.2kg and is one of our precious Kaninchen Dachshunds—fully grown, yet forever looking like a delicate little baby.

Where her mom has a stronger personality, Hunter is her soft and gentle opposite. Sweet-natured and deeply affectionate, she finds her happiest place curled up close—especially at night, where she loves to cuddle right around my head, as if making sure she’s never too far away.

But don’t be fooled by her gentle spirit… Hunter knows exactly how to make herself heard. If she’s unhappy or feels she’s not getting quite enough attention, her sharp little (yet still sweet) voice will quickly remind you. It’s all part of her charm.

Her best friend is Winter, our Kaninchen longhair cream girl, and the two share a special bond filled with playfulness and quiet companionship.

Hunter is deeply loved and holds a very special place in my heart—a tiny soul with endless love to give and a presence that feels so much bigger than her size.
