How Our Puppy Waiting List Works
Bringing a Redamancy Dachshund into your family is an exciting journey, and I want the process to be as fair, transparent, and enjoyable as possible for everyone involved. Because my litters are often spoken for before the puppies are born, I maintain a waiting list to ensure that families are offered puppies in the order in which they joined.

1. VIP Waiting List Has First Choice
Families on the VIP Waiting List receive the first opportunity to choose from the available puppies.
Once VIP families have made their selections, any remaining puppies will then be offered to families on the General Waiting List, according to the order in which they joined.
2. Pre-Litter Updates
Approximately one week before an expected litter arrives, I will send an email to everyone on the waiting list to confirm that you are still looking for a puppy and to update your preferences if necessary.
This helps me keep the waiting list current and ensures that I can match families with the right puppy as smoothly as possible.
3. Puppy Arrival Announcement
As soon as the puppies are born and I have confirmed that Mom and babies are doing well, I will send an update to everyone on the waiting list.
The announcement will include photographs and information about the litter, including the puppies available.
4. Expressing Interest
After receiving the announcement, you are welcome to let me know which puppy — or puppies — you are particularly interested in.
I will note your name against your preferred puppy or puppies so that I can keep track of everyone's choices.
5. Priority Order
Puppies are offered according to the order in which families joined the waiting list.
If more than one family is interested in the same puppy, the person who joined the list earliest will receive the first opportunity to reserve that puppy.
6. Confirmation Window
When it is your turn to choose, you will have 24 hours to confirm your decision.
If I do not hear from you within that time, I will move on to the next family on the waiting list who has expressed interest in that puppy.
This allows the process to move along fairly and efficiently for everyone.
7. Sales Agreement & Deposit
Once you have confirmed your chosen puppy, I will send you:

A sales agreement

An invoice for the deposit
A 50% deposit is required within 24 hours to secure your puppy.
If the deposit is not received within this timeframe and no prior arrangement has been made, the puppy will be offered to the next family on the waiting list.

A Few Important Notes
While families are welcome to indicate their preferred puppy, final selections are only confirmed once it is their turn on the waiting list.
Occasionally, a family may change their mind or a puppy may no longer be available, which is why I ask everyone to keep an open mind and, where possible, have a second choice.
My priority is always to place each puppy in the home that is the best fit for both the puppy and the family.

Unfortunately, there are many scammers and unethical puppy mills operating online. Please take the time to research any breeder carefully, ask plenty of questions, and trust your instincts before making a decision.

Your peace of mind — and, most importantly, the health and well-being of the puppies — will always come first.
I would much rather help point you in the direction of a reputable breeder than see someone fall victim to a scam or purchase a puppy from an unethical source.
